I put this recipe together when I couldn't find a commercial sauce our family liked.
1/2 c. low-sodium soy sauce
1/2 c. pineapple juice
1/2 tsp. ginger powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
Combine all ingredients together in a saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer about 10 minutes. Cool and use as a marinade for chicken, fish or beef. Also great with stir fry vegetables.

Thanks for this one! I was trying to decide what amounts to put in one I was making up for a pineapple type marinade and I decided to check your site and found it. I don't like ginger, so I'm adding more fresh minced garlic, dried minced onion, and a tablespoon of vinegar. I'm excited!
